The Employee Advice and Support Union is based in Twickenham and open to workers across all sectors throughout the United Kingdom. We are dedicated to defending your employment rights, fostering fair and equal working environments, and providing every worker with a reliable, collaborative voice.

Why we founded our union

We established the Employee Advice and Support Union because far too many workers across the UK confront challenging workplace disputes without understanding their statutory rights or having access to reliable, cost-effective representation. Our mission is to provide an inclusive haven for professionals in every sector, delivering strong, independent guidance when it matters most. We aim to reshape UK workplaces into environments where dignity, fair pay, thorough health and safety, and genuine equality are the default standard for everyone.

Our modern, collaborative philosophy

Unlike traditional approaches that often engage only after disputes escalate and positions become entrenched, our focus is on proactive communication, early resolution, and constructive engagement. We work alongside managers, employees, and organisations to solve grievances before they turn adversarial. However, collaboration never means compromising your rights. We stand completely independent, fearlessly challenge unjust treatment, and uphold the principle that strong worker protection and respectful employer relationships naturally complement each other.

Who we support and how we help

Membership is open to every employee and worker across all trades, sectors, and job titles. Whether you are full-time, part-time, temporary, an agency worker, casual, on a zero-hours contract, or an apprentice, we are here for you. We assist members with disciplinary hearings, grievance procedures, redundancy, unfair dismissal, bullying, harassment, discrimination, contract disputes, sickness absence, disability adjustments, flexible working requests, and workplace wellbeing. Whatever your situation, we examine your case and safeguard your employment rights.
